I get your pain but Capcom has done WAYYYY worse than having a. it’s just shoot all these zombies, watch a scene, move on and you can see it’s all so effortless. Cutting Content One of if not the biggest complaints fans held regarding the Resident Evil 3 remake, was the amount of content that was left out from the game based on its original title. I enjoyed it very much and they did put more efforts in to cut scenes. I recommend buying it if youre a long time fan. Everything that was planned to be in this game it is in this game. Res 3 remake was also a good looking game. The entire thing is redesigned with a completely different script that is very loosely based on the original.
There is literally no reason for them to make a better Re4 with no cut corners lol. Capcom know they can remove 70 of Re4 and still have it get defended and sell copies. Sure they need to make money, but when you don’t even freaking try to build off of the foundation of the original game. A complete re-imagining of the original RE3. Re3 cut a ridiculous amount out and sold well. The only reason they’re making the remakes is not for the fans but because they know it will make them money. The game design and dialogue is a joke and the only reason it got the score it did is because of the fan base it holds, RE4, and that people would just buy it and do stupid meaningless speed runs. I myself don't think the remake of 3 is as bad as most people say, even though it could've been way better. Besides the beautiful graphics, there are very few redeeming qualities. As many people on this forum already know, I was very disappointed with the RE3 remake. Just a rushed shoot and shop for these items experience. RE3 Remake ending with an awful You gotta be precise about hitting Nikolai as possible, or his hostage dies and you fail makes it one of the most dreadful Resident Evils to replay on top of the jarring trash mob boss fight with Nemesis, the questionable cut content, and zombies no longer getting their limbs shot off. It's heart-wrenching to watch videos like that. Look at all the stuff they cut out of RE2 as well. I’m so glad I hesitated ore ordering the collectors because I had a feeling it wouldn’t be great. A disgusting business and game developing tactic is what it is.
They just know that if they make something and say hey, you can play this old amazing game with updated graphics now, people will pay for it. They could care less about the franchise. Because they wanted quick and easy money.
